We are incredibly fortunate to have an amazing team of volunteers who choose to give their time to support their local community. Whether a Minibus Driver, Trip Escort, Booking Officer, or Membership Officer, every member of our team plays a vital role in enabling our services to operate year-round.

Whatever your background and whatever your skills, we are sure there is a role that will suit you and fit around your existing commitments.
We have eight locations across West Sussex, each focused on supporting the community in and around the village where it is based. Every volunteer chooses which village hub they would like to volunteer for and how much time they wish to commit.
We understand that personal circumstances can change. You may need to pause your volunteering for a month or two, or take that extended trip you have always dreamed of since retiring. That’s absolutely fine — we understand.
You’ll never be on your own
Each of our village hubs has an experienced team of volunteers who will support you from day one. They will introduce you to the team you will be working alongside, show you the ropes and give you all the time and support you need until you feel confident taking your role forward.
Some of our volunteers have been with the organisation for more than 30 years, giving you the peace of mind that you will be in good hands.
It’s about much more than a minibus.
Yes, we operate minibuses for social and shopping trips, but what we are really about is our members.
We care about them, and we look out for them.
For many of our passengers, our team may be the only people they see all week. So, while they are out and about with us, we can offer a little banter and laughter, listen a little bit closer when they are not quite their usual selves, and simply be that helping hand.
We help our members remain connected to their friends, their community and wider society.
What we offer may seem very simple, but we can assure you that it means everything to our members.
A trip out on one of our services means they see somebody they know at least once a week — someone who recognises them and calls them by name; the chance to chat with someone they are familiar with when they call to reserve their place on the minibus; friends to natter with while they are out on a trip; and someone who notices when they miss a trip or two.
